Wellbeing Week 2024
Many thanks to everyone who supported the Surgeon Noonan bakesale today. €640 was raised.
Surgeon Noonan is a fully registered charity and a UCC society. Every year, medical students volunteer to go to underprivileged hospitals in Africa – Ghana, Zambia, Tanzania, Milawi and Kenya. All money donated is brought to the hospitals to buy basic medical supplies. The volunteers pay their own expenses.
Over the last number of years, many of our former students have participated in the volunteer work in this society, creating a ‘bridge’ between our school and Africa.
