Beginning secondary school can be a little daunting, so at the Intermediate School we have implemented a mentoring system. Our fifth-year students are given the opportunity to apply to mentor our first-year students.
Successful candidates are given responsibility over a small number of first year students. Their role is to help make the transition into first year a little easier. They will continue to meet with their group throughout the year.
