Out TYs have had a very busy start to the year!
So far they’ve:
- Cleaned Rossbeigh Beach
- Attended the Teen Wellfest in Cromane as part of Croman Seafest
- Attended the National Ploughing Championships in Tullamore
- Surfed the waves with Kingdom Waves Surf School and cleaned Inch Beach
- Had a life-skills workshop with Michelle from ‘The School of Life’
- Taken part in mock interviews organised by Mary Lucey and Cara Credit Union
- They’ve also gotten their Gaisce Program up and running with a wide range of activities including helping the elderly, working in the Community Garden, painting a mural, volunteering with Vincent’s learning the bag pipes and drums with the Killorglin Pipe Band, planting our poly tunnel, drum n’ dance, yoga, pilates, and sign language among other things!
