Eight of our TYs (and two teachers) spent last week caring for Irish young people with various additional needs in Lourdes, providing badly needed respite for their parents & guardians. It is an experience that is difficult to describe and the number of students (35) that applied to go and help is a wonderful reflection on the fine young people we have in our school. It must also be mentioned that the students raised the vast majority of the €6000 required to travel themselves which is a fantastic achievement.
