That’s a wrap on Wellbeing Week at the Intermediate School Killorglin — and what a week it was!

Each day brought something new and uplifting. We kicked off with life skills presentations for our 1st years and were inspired by Michael Cox, who spoke to our senior pupils and staff about Emotional Intelligence. His message — “Your EQ is the level of your ability to understand other people, what motivates them and how to work cooperatively with them” — really resonated.

Throughout the week, we enjoyed Halloween dress-up, a fantastic fundraising bake sale that raised €1,300 for mental health, walk to school day, our annual Fun Run and a visit from Sam Maguire.

Friday brought a lovely Staff Appreciation Day, with coffee from Patchino’s and cupcakes for all staff at break time. The celebrations continued with a testimonial soccer match for Mr. Moynihan and a fun quiz to round off the week for our 1st Years.

A huge thank you to Mr. Blennerhassett and the Wellbeing Team, along with all teachers, management and staff, for your incredible effort and enthusiasm in organising such a meaningful and positive week for the entire ISK community. It did us all good to be part of it.

Here are a few more pics from a week to remember.
