On Friday 1st May we celebrated our students achievements with an awards ceremony which took place in the well from 2pm to 4pm. As part of our ceremony we had a very special visit from Amano de Londra Miura who is one of our past pupils. Amano is an extremely talented singer and a fluent Irish speaker who loves to promote our native language. Amano’s speech and musical performance left both students and teachers in awe of her talents and positivity. Two new awards were introduced this year for excellence in contributing to school spirit and student leadership. These are “The Overall School Spirit Award” won by Daire Mc Carthy of 5C and “The Joesph A’ O Dwyer Award” won by Mary Ellen Mc Donnell of 6D. Congratulations to you both and congratulations to all our students who won awards on the day.
