Our athletes had a very successful day at the Kerry Cross Country competition in Killarney on Friday. Aaron O Sullivan won our first medal of the day finishing third in the minor boys race. He was joined by Darragh O Sullivan, Cian McCillycuddy and James McCarthy to take the team bronze medals. In the junior girls race, Chloe Coffey took the bronze medal, while Masie Memery finished fourth. Laoise O Keefe and Sarah Boyne also finished in strong positions to help win the team gold medals.
A very exciting intermediate race saw Lily Riordan take the gold medal, followed closely by Ciara Moore in second position. Kelly Griffin, Evelyn Bowler and Grace Keary completed a very strong team performance to take another gold medal spot for the team.
Following these fantastic results, the ISK was announced as the overall best girls school on the day. Congratulations to all, great achievement!!
