Carol singing in Library Place tomorrow

Our TY, and 2nd Year students, accompanied by students from Scoil Mhuire, will perform a special carol service on Wednesday, December 13, from 12noon to 1pm in Library Place, Killorglin, and it’s all in aid of the palliative-care unit at University Hospital Kerry.
Sisters Molly and Lucy Kingston came up with the idea and have worked hard at organising and co-ordinating the music, songs, musicians, advertising and much more to ensure a very successful and enjoyable event.
“There’ll be many instruments accompanying the service, including guitars, tin whistles, drums and piano, so please donate to this very worthy cause to help improve the facilities in the palliative-care unit to make the experience faced by many families a little easier to go through,” said Molly.
The sisters, along with their younger sister Anna – who will be joined by sixth class pupils from Scoil Mhuire on the day – have put their energies into a wider fundraising initiative for the unit with dad Erwin, after their mom, Aoife, passed away from cancer on October 14.
All money raised will go towards the specific needs of families entering the hospice environment.
Please support generously if you can.
