Well done to all our athletes who competed in the Kerry schools athletics competition today in Castleisland. The sunshine added to a very enjoyable days athletics and ISK had some fanastic results. Cian O Sullivan finished 2nd in a very competitive minor 100m and later added gold in the 300m race. Lauren McEvoy retained her 100m title from last year in a very close finish. Ronan McDonnnell ran a well composed 1500m race to finish 2nd, Ciara Moore took an impressive gold in the junior 800m and Lily Riordan pulled away down the home straight to comfortably take the intermediate 800m title. Finally Daragh O’ Connor and Ben O’ Shea completed our medal haul finishing 1st and 3rd respectively in the junior 300m. Congratulations to all.
